But, unknown to them, Parrot had even a more advanced version in mind – the Parrot AR Drone 3.0. Not that the new version has come to erode the previous one though, but there are some high-performance features infused into the new model which makes drone flying, either for pleasure or business, a memorable experience. In terms of size, the Parrot AR Drone 2.0 is a little heavier than its successor. With its hull in place, the version 2.0 is measured at 57x57 cm, but without the hull, it is 45x45 cm. In contrast, the Parrot AR Drone 3.0 is a featherweight that’s easier to use indoors. It’s 38x33 cm with its hull, and 32x28 cm without it.
