The first thing to realize is that using a GoPro adhesive mount may seem like the easiest option, but this structure is going to weigh too much for the AR drone to perform sufficiently. Anything more than 100 grams is going to decrease performance for the drone, and the GoPro already weighs 75 grams (more or less depending on model). The added weight will stress the drone and make controlling it much more difficult. This can cause a crash, damaging both devices. Instead, a lighter mount should be used. First, make sure you have an AR drone and a GoPro camera, preferably a lighter model like the HERO3+ Black Edition (which is under 60 grams). To hold the camera, get a piece of Styrofoam that's a little bigger than the camera. Super glue can function as the adhesive. You'll also need a sharp knife for cutting and rubber bands to help secure the camera to the mount while on the AR drone. A credit card comes in handy as well. Place the GoPro camera on the foam block. Get the credit card and make an outline in the foam around the camera.

Then, grab the knife and use long, sawing motions to slice the Styrofoam. Cut as deep into the foam as the GoPro camera is thick. This will ensure that the camera is completely covered when hanging on the AR drone. The mount should be as light as possible. Trim the sides with the knife until the edges are only a few millimeters. Then, place the GoPro camera into the foam mount. Liberally apply glue to the bottom of the Styrofoam casing, and attach it in the middle of the underbelly of the AR drone. Be sure not to cover the camera on one end and the two sonar stabilizers on the other end. The glue should dry for roughly 12 hours (or even more). To make sure the bond is as strong as possible, place a book on top of the drone to add pressure and strengthen the bond while the glue dries. Once finished, use rubber bands to tie the mount to the AR drone and lock the GoPro camera into its slot. Use multiple rubber bands as a precaution. Now, the GoPro camera is mounted to the AR drone, and ready to film everything the drone sees and discovers.

Fly the AR drone with its newly installed GoPro mount at a low height over a safe surface (like a lawn). This test run is to ensure that the GoPro camera is securely locked in place by the rubber bands and that the mount is securely bonded to the drone. If everything seems solid, begin flying as usual.
