Frank Carey seventh grader Devin Casano clinched a victory in the school’s annual Geography Bee. H. Frank Carey recently held its annual Military Day. Representatives from the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines came to the school to speak to students about opportunities in the military. H. Frank Carey High School sophomore Collin Buchanan was selected as December's Carey Character. The Athletic Department at H. Frank Carey expressed its gratitude to the Art Palette Club, led by adviser Roi Daconto, for a beautifully painted mural that was created for the school’s Athletic Trainers room for all the athletes to enjoy. H. Frank Carey eighth-grade students in Thomas Needham’s English class were visited by Yaron Brook, executive co-chairman and president of the Ayn Rand Institute on Feb. 3.
