Parrot has added two new Minidrone models to their ever-growing drone range, the Swing and the Mambo. The Swing is the first plane Minidrone that can  take off and land vertically and has forward flight. The X-shape design enables the Swing to fly both vertically and horizontally. The Swing  can switch smoothly from the quadcopter mode to the plane mode where it can perform aerial tricks and can reach a maximum speed of 30 km/h. The Minidrone can be piloted using the FreeFlight Mini smartphone application or, in conjunction with the app, can be controlled with the Parrot Flypad, which a piloting remote control. The Mambo is a powerful Minidrone that focuses on high speed, aerial acrobatics, and includes a Grabber and a Cannon. The Minidrone can reach up to speeds of 30 km/h and can perform front, back, or side loops, and 90-degree or 180-degree turns. The Mambo also includes two accessories that can offer a whole other level of fun, or chaos, depending on who is controlling it.

The Cannon allows to identify a target, aim at moving objects and fire small projectiles. The other accessory, the Grabber, allows you to transport small objects through the air and drop them off. The Swing will retail for AU$229.99, with the Mambo retailing for AU$199.99. Both models will be available in October 2016. Are you in the market for some new drones?
