BTW, to do something like the first example on the drone using ardrone_autonomy took me several long hours of installing & upgrading Linux, several updates to the library etc etc. Not to mention the not-yet-fully-ready libraries using node.js and confusing ROS and V-REP architectures (i do not want to even talk about the C++ options)
