The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors took a closer look at Senate Bill 415 today. The bill requires districts with odd-year elections that have had a decrease in voter turnout to change their elections to even-years in an effort to increase turnout. This would have an effect on over 30 school districts, and over 40 special districts which have had low voter turnouts.
